I recently came out to Big Bear to visit family and hurt my knee running down the mountain. Sports med doc and MRI say I have supra patellar plica and some bursitis. Sports med doc recommends cortisone injection, I have been hurt for a month, have not ran for two weeks and tried to run and developed pain and swelling after 3 minutes. I was wondering how your surgery went and your recommendation. I have been icing and taking ibuprofen as directed. Any insight? Andrew Knapik Hi, I am a runner at Lewis University near Chicago.
